Rattler Family, it's never too early to make plans for your Halloween fun, and Magazine Schools and the Magazine Community have a great two-for-one opportunity for you and your student to have loads of fun this year. The Magazine Community will host a free Trunk-or-Treat candy giveaway on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 5-6 p.m. in the Magazine Schools MOP and old gym parking lots. Following that, Magazine Schools will host its annual Red Ribbon Week Rally the same evening (Wednesday, Oct. 30) from 6-8 p.m. in the area adjacent to the high school football field and safe room. Rattler Family, on Saturday (Oct. 12), senior Nat Ervin and sophomore Kauree Bennett competed at Southside High School in the Region IV All-Region Choir Competition. Both students qualified for the All-Region SSAA Choir, with Bennett placing 27th and Ervin placing 28th out of 69 Soprano 1 who competed. They will perform at the All-Region Clinic on Nov. 2. at The Center for the Arts in Russellville.
